Job summary

Progress Residential in Indianapolis seeks a Construction Superintendent - LC to oversee labor estimates, coordinate turn projects, and ensure safety and quality standards on every home turnaround.

The role collaborates with approved vendors and internal teams, tracks costs, reports progress, and maintains accurate records. A High School diploma and 5+ years of superintendent or project management experience are required, with strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with a valid Driver’s License.
• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent, project manager or production home representative.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliance, landscaping and irrigation systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and review scope of work to determine labor, vendor and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule work directly and/or through the Project Coordinator.
• Track and assign work to third party vendors to move homes to rent-ready status.
• Perform quality control inspections and complete punch list items.
• Complete property inspections, costs and estimates.
• Communicate changes to scope, schedule and costs.
• Maintain workplace safety standards.
• Assist in creation and circulation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
