Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Construction Superintendent - LC to lead turn projects for our single-family rental homes. You will determine labor and material needs, work with approved vendors and internal teams, and ensure quality and on-time completion of tasks.

You will monitor costs, schedules, and quality, perform some basic repairs, and maintain accurate records for reporting. A strong background in trades, safety, and resident communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with a valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent, project manager or production home representative.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliances, landscaping and irrigation systems.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and high performance standards.
• Good communication skills (oral & written) and ability to schedule work with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and review scope of work to determine labor, vendor and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule work directly and/or via the Project Coordinator.
• Track and assign work to third party vendors to move homes to rent-ready status quickly.
• Perform quality control inspections and address punch list items.
• Complete property inspections, costs and estimates.
• Communicate changes to scope, schedule and costs.
• Able to perform basic repairs to reduce cycle times.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are upheld.
• Assist in creating and distributing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
