Job summary

Progress Residential® is seeking a Construction Superintendent - LC/HC to lead labor and cost estimation, oversee projects, and ensure quality standards for turn and renovation work on single-family rental homes. You will collaborate with approved vendors and internal teams to drive efficient, rent-ready outcomes.

The role emphasizes inspections, scheduling, reporting, safety, and some basic repairs to reduce cycle times. A valid driver's license and a strong construction background are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience in construction supervision or project management is preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring and general construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes to determine labor, vendor and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule work with Project Coordinator or directly with vendors.
• Track and assign work to third-party vendors to move homes to rent ready status.
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure punch list items are completed.
• Prepare property inspections, cost estimates and reporting.
• Communicate changes to scope, schedule and costs.
• Assist with basic repairs to reduce cycle times.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are upheld.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
