Job summary

Progress Residential in North Carolina is seeking a Construction Superintendent - LC to lead turn projects, estimate labor and costs, and ensure quality assurance from scope to completion. You will collaborate with approved vendors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related trades, solid communication with residents, and hands-on ability to perform basic repairs to accelerate turnover.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with residents and internal teams.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and projects.
• Experience with basic repairs to reduce cycle times.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and review scope of work to determine labor, vendor and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule work with Project Coordinator or directly.
• Track and assign work to third party vendors to move homes to rent-ready status quickly.
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure punch list items are completed.
• Complete property inspections, costs and estimates.
• Communicate changes to scope, schedule and costs.
• Complete basic repairs to reduce cycle times.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Assist in creation and circulation of regular reporting.
