Job summary

YES Communities, Inc. is seeking a Collector in Texas to manage rent and utility payments, follow up on delinquencies, and coordinate payment plans with residents. You may perform calls, texts, emails, and occasional visits as part of outreach.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid Texas driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous collections experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software.
• Must have a valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document payments from residents and assist with electronic payments
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally
• Prepare and deliver correspondence including collection notices
• Maintain office files and provide administrative support
• Coordinate with legal counselors and loan partners on collections
• Provide backup support for sales or leasing team
• Follow Fair Housing and proper collection practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned
