Job summary

Impact RTO Holdings operates Rent-A-Center stores and is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager in Garden City. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage inventory, and deliver a superior customer experience.

This role offers a clear path to Store Manager, with weekly profit sharing, Sundays off for a 5-day workweek, and comprehensive benefits, including medical and retirement plans. Successful candidates fast-track into Store Manager training.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is required.
• Positive, motivated attitude and leadership desire.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 1 year.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in sales, inventory, delivery, and service.
• Drive store revenue by hitting and surpassing targets.
• Manage store inventory and cash reconciliation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom; participate in marketing content as needed.
• Support Store Manager in all operational duties.

What You'll Do

You will run the day-to-day alongside your Store Manager, with real ownership over results:

• Assist fellow store team members in sales, inventory, delivery, and service with a smile
• Drive store revenue by consistently hitting and surpassing company sales targets
• Manage store inventory and ensure accurate cash reconciliation
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience such as: greeting, assisting, and resolving issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
• Occasionally participate in the creation of social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support Company initiatives
• Assist with product deliveries, setup, service, and returns as needed
• Support the Store Manager in all operational duties

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Sales or customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or similar — all count)
• A positive, motivated attitude and a desire to lead
• Valid, physical driver's license held for at least 1 year
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as part of the role
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S
