Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204-Onsite
Long Term Contract

Pay: $22 per hour

Responsibilities

This position serves as the Licensing Renewal Coordinator of the Indiana Department of Insurance (IDOi). The position accepts and reviews license renewal and reinstatement applications, including any civil, criminal, or administrative background documents, and makes determinations as to a candidate’s eligibility for renewal of a license as governed through the laws, rules, and policies of the state. The position works with the IDOi Enforcement Division, Vertafore/Sircon, NIPR, FINRA, and other state departments of Insurance. The position also utilizes MyCase.in, gov, NIPR Attachments Warehouse, I-Site, Slrcon for States, e-PAL, INBlz, FINRA BrokerCheck, and other databases. The position processes license reinstatement waiver forms, advises candidates on reinstatement process, tracks progress, maintains IDOi renewal web pages, works with system vendors, troubleshoots errors, implements system or process improvements, manages communications, and coordinates with Education Coordinator on CE forms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Strong Customer Service experience in a business/professional environment. (Required, 2 Years)
• Practical knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Teams. (Required, 2 Years)
• Prior experience in the LAH/P&C insurance industry (Life, Accident & Health; Property & Casualty). (Highly desired)
• Prior experience working in a call center setting. (Highly desired)
