POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Renewables Business Unit. This position reports to an existing POWER office with the ability to work remotely from a mutually agreed location.
The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary engineering team leading and executing electrical power system design for renewable projects. Responsibilities include creating and issuing construction drawings, specifications, bills of material, power system studies, and reports. Candidates should demonstrate solid knowledge in grounding, lightning and surge protection, lighting, protective relaying, panelboards, low and medium voltage switchgear, PV solar, BESS, wind systems, DER, and microgrids, with familiarity with NESC, NEC, NFPA, and IEEE standards. Experience with modeling tools like ETAP, PTW, or EasyPower is preferred. Key attributes include team leadership, mentoring, communication skills, motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects within budget and schedule. The role involves direct client interaction and some travel.

Base salary range: $90,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Salaries do not include bonuses or other benefits.
