NTH Consultants, Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Renewables Project Engineer to join our Grand Rapids area team. This role focuses on utility-scale renewable energy, BESS, and EV charging projects, with opportunities to bid, manage, and execute engineering work.

The right candidate will have 4+ years in electrical power or renewables, Michigan licensing goals, and strong client-facing skills. Based in Grand Rapids with potential to work from Northville or Lansing, this is a growth-oriented,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• P.E. license in Michigan or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 4+ years in electrical power, renewables, or industrial fields.
• 2+ years in design or project experience related to renewables or BESS.
• Experience preparing proposals, estimates, schedules, or budgets.
• Ability to read and create complex electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships and pursue repeat work.
• Lead bid, design, and execution of utility-scale renewable projects.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, plans, specs, and reports.
• Coordinate design with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Mentor staff engineers and lead project teams.
• Travel to customer sites for bid investigations and field support.
