Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET-equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience, with 1+ year in power systems.
• Experience with steady-state and dynamic analysis using PSS®E and PSCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop PSSE, PSLF, TSAT and PSCAD models for renewable plants.
• Perform model quality tests and benchmarking.
• Tune dynamic model parameters to meet regional performance requirements.
• Support interconnection applications and complete design information forms.
• Conduct preliminary system studies, like reactive power studies.
• Collaborate with clients to address deadlines and feedback.
