Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a self-motivated graduate engineer to join the Studies team in the United States. You will perform power system studies, build models, and support preliminary renewable projects and interconnection work, with exposure to NERC compliance and dynamic simulations.

The role emphasizes presenting results to clients and internal teams, managing multiple projects, and expanding your skill set across power systems and consulting services.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Prior engineering internship is required.
• Interest in steady-state and dynamic power flow studies.
• Ability to present study results clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Ability to identify new projects and translate them into consulting work.
• Capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to develop a broad skill set for internal workload needs.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform studies using PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD and other packages to analyze performance.
• Study, model, validate and benchmark renewable projects for NERC compliance.
• Collaborate with clients to identify new projects and communicate capabilities.
• Contribute to other power system analysis, design, or testing areas as workload allows.
