Job summary

Ulteig, a leading engineering firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform power-flow studies and model validation for renewable projects. The role requires an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree and the ability to present results clearly to clients and internal teams.

You will engage with clients to identify new projects, articulate Ulteig's capabilities, and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
Interest in performing steady-state and dynamic power flow studies.
Ability to present study results effectively both internally and externally.
Ability to engage with clients to identify projects and articulate how Ulteig can deliver them.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to develop a broad skillset to support internal workload flexibility.
Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Perform studies using PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD and other software to analyze performance and support NERC compliance.
Create models, validate them, and benchmark renewable projects.
Expand work into other power system analysis, design and testing areas as workload allows.
