Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Land Agent II to support land acquisition for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage). You will lead project plans, timelines, objectives, and collaborate with the legal, engineering and project management teams to drive successful site development.

You will negotiate leases and easements, maintain land records, and travel up to 60% to engage landowners and coordinate project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in land acquisition or real estate.
• Experience negotiating with private landowners and obtaining title documents.
• Ability to manage multiple land acquisition projects and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of real estate principles and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate leases, easements, and land rights for wind, solar, and storage projects.
• Present to landowners and manage communications as main contact.
• Research property ownership records and secure supporting documents.
• Lead project plans, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Maintain land records, leases, and inventory; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; travel domestically up to 60%.
