Job summary

ENGIE North America in Goddard, Kansas is seeking a Land Agent II (Renewables) to negotiate leases, perform title research, and coordinate land rights for wind, solar, and storage projects. You will partner with development, legal, engineering, and environment teams.

The role requires a four-year degree or four years of related land acquisition experience, and travel up to 60%. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential to ensure timely, accurate land records and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or 4 years of Land Acquisition experience in energy.
• Experience negotiating leases with private landowners.
• Ability to research property ownership records and supporting docs.
• Organize and maintain project files, land records and docs.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of land agreements and title matters in energy.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and acquire leases, easements, and land rights for renewables projects.
• Build relationships with landowners and be primary project contact.
• Conduct title research and secure documentation for land acquisition.
• Manage land acquisition projects with plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain land records, leases, and inventory in project databases.
• Collaborate with BD, legal, engineering, environmental, and PM teams.
• Monitor regulations and assist with surface use agreements and land matters.
