Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to provide technical engineering oversight and manage design teams for renewables projects. You will oversee budgets, resources, and project planning while mentoring staff to ensure quality deliverables.

The role requires a US-licensed PE, a strong background in renewables engineering, and experience coordinating with PMs, field management, and regulatory bodies. On-site work in the Phoenix area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences required.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop design fee for the work.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers, and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
• Communicate with Project Manager or Executive regarding effort and deliverables.
• Lead Engineering CAC efforts and interaction with the PM.
• Resolve complex engineering problems and review calculations.
• Act as Engineer of Record for projects within responsibility.
• Coordinate with city/state officials and regulatory agencies.
• Attend project design meetings with the Design Build Team.
• Perform site visits to review installation or assess conditions.
• Conduct Value Engineering studies.
