Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Team Lead in the United States to oversee renewables projects and manage design teams. The role focuses on technical leadership, resource planning, and collaboration with PMs and field management.

The position requires a PE license, 8+ years of engineering experience, and the ability to interface with multiple trades and regulatory bodies. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Proficiency of renewables engineering processes, calculations, and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop a design fee.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers, and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
• Communicate with Project Manager or Executive regarding effort to accomplish deliverables.
• Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM.
• Resolve a variety of complex problems (conflicting design requirements, etc.).
• Prepare and/or review engineering calculations for assigned projects.
• Act as Engineer of Record for projects within their responsibility.
• Coordinate with city, state, and county officials and other regulatory agencies.
• Attend project design meetings with the overall Design Build Team.
• Job Site Visits to review installation or assess current conditions.
• Perform Value Engineering studies.
