Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a CADD Intern to join our Renewables Department for Summer 2027. This internship helps you develop drafting and design skills while supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects.

You will create construction drawings and site layouts using AutoCAD, and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and consistency across drawing sets. Two-year technical degree students or those enrolled in Technical Drafting programs are welcome.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in a Technical Drafting program.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating construction drawings and site layouts for renewable energy projects.
• Use AutoCAD to support civil and/or structural design elements.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy across drawing sets.
• Support development of plan sets for permits, approvals, and construction documentation.
• Learn industry standards and company practices in drafting and design production.
• Participate in design reviews and coordination activities under supervision.
