Job summary

Ulteig invites a CADD Intern to join our Renewables Department for Summer 2027, gaining hands-on experience in drafting for solar, wind, and BESS projects. You will contribute to construction drawings, site layouts, and permit-ready plan sets under the guidance of seasoned CAD technicians and engineers.

The internship emphasizes mentorship, skill development in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS, and exposure to real-world civil/structural design processes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or enrolled in Technical Drafting program.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is required.
• Must be available to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating construction drawings and site layouts for renewable energy projects.
• Use AutoCAD to support civil and/or structural design elements.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy across drawing sets.
• Develop plan sets for permits, approvals, and construction documentation.
• Learn and apply industry standards and company best practices in drafting and design production.
• Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and drafting coordination under supervision.
