Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a CADD Intern in our Renewables Department for Summer 2027. This role supports utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects by developing drafting and design deliverables under experienced CAD staff.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to plan sets for permits and construction documents while learning company standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or enrollment in Technical Drafting program is required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is required.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and teamwork skills.
• Available to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating construction drawings and site layouts for renewable energy projects.
• Use AutoCAD to support civil and structural design elements.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy across drawing sets.
• Support development of plan sets for permits and construction documentation.
