Job summary

Mission Clean Energy is seeking a Real Estate Associate to help identify and secure optimal sites for ourSolar and Battery projects across the United States. You will engage landowners, perform market analysis, and support permitting, interconnection, and due diligence while partnering with development, permitting, and finance teams.

The role emphasizes a people-first approach, strong negotiation, and contract drafting skills, with travel up to 25% and a clear path to impact the company s growth

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• Strong negotiation and contract understanding.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Excel and mapping tools; willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience in real estate acquisition terms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure optimal sites for solar and BESS projects.
• Conduct outreach to landowners and assess site conditions.
• Assist with market analysis, due diligence, and site acquisition.
• Support permitting, interconnection, and negotiations with landowners.
• Collaborate with development, permitting, finance teams.
• Maintain a site selection database and track progress.
