Job summary

Purple Land Management, LLC seeks experienced Renewable Land Agents to lead site acquisition for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will perform outreach, secure acreage via leases or purchase options, and negotiate complex agreements with landowners.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record closing large-acreage options, strong title and due-diligence skills, and ability to coordinate with GIS, legal, and development teams. This role requires field travel within designated hubs.

Qualifications

• Field landman experience with a proven record of closing large-acreage options and leases for utility solar or energy infrastructure.
• Strong negotiation, contract drafting, and title curative capabilities.
• Ability to evaluate title risks, zoning constraints, and environmental factors affecting project viability.

Responsibilities

• Origination & Site Control: lead field outreach to secure acreage via lease or purchase options.
• Contract Negotiation: draft and negotiate long-term leases, option agreements, and easements with landowners.
• Feasibility & Curative Work: assess title risks, zoning, environmental constraints, and utility proximity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate with GIS, legal, and project teams to meet milestones.
• Market Knowledge: understand PJM and MISO regional frameworks and utility footprints.
