Join to apply for the Manager of Real Estate role at Adapture Renewables, Inc.

Overview

This position will work in our Real Estate team and is responsible for real estate matters with minimal supervision for assigned projects that lead to a fully insurable and financeable project. Focus regions for this role include Texas and the East Coast. The candidate may be based remotely in the U.S., with periodic travel to our Bay Area home office and other company locations.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Lead various aspects of land diligence, title and survey matters from inception through closing in connection with financing and construction.
  2. Coordinate with the title company to close parcels that are being purchased.
  3. Collaborate with title underwriting to de-risk projects and obtain necessary title insurance products and/or date down title insurance at each acquisition and/or financing milestone.
  4. Analyze and cure title; obtain necessary agreements and consents from third parties; resolve mineral severances; and conduct in-depth review and ongoing management of real estate title through the life of the project.
  5. Address mineral interests in order to obtain a mineral endorsement.
  6. Initiate, review, and perfect ALTA surveys in conjunction with title resolution and development of project design.
  7. Responsible for the real estate schedule and budget inputs for assigned projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate/title along with knowledge of utility-scale solar or other renewables origination/development. Direct experience in the renewable energy industry highly preferred.
  2. Experience with TLTA highly preferred.
  3. Firm understanding of 2021 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
  4. Experience addressing gaps, overlaps, and other legal description issues is highly preferred.
  5. Experience addressing mineral interests.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong track record of sharing and coordinating information across a diverse project team.
  7. Demonstrated project management skills.
  8. Strong sense of ownership over individual contributions and team success.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Environmental Science, Land Use Planning, Engineering, or a relevant field.
