Job summary

Renewable Properties is seeking a Project Finance Associate to support the financial strategy across solar, BESS, EV charging, and land development and acquisition pipelines. The role involves building and updating detailed financial models and supporting buy- and sell-side diligence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Associate will report to the CIO and collaborate with development, engineering, legal, and capital markets teams.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance or related field.
Advanced Excel modeling with cash flow, scenarios, and valuations.
Experience in M&A diligence and financing analysis.
Ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
Based in SF, NYC, or Miami or willing to relocate to one of these hubs.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize project- and fund-level financial models.
Support execution of M&A transactions, valuation, due diligence, and stakeholder coordination.
Analyze PPA and community solar RFP responses and support bid strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams to collect inputs for development-stage assets.
Prepare investment memoranda and investor presentation materials.
Assist with transaction structuring and financing documents.
Monitor late-stage and operational project financials, identify risks.
Track market trends, policy developments, and valuation benchmarks.
