Job summary

4P Consulting Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Renewable Project Manager I to lead evaluation, procurement, contracting, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy and storage projects.

Reporting to internal teams and coordinating with developers, vendors, regulators, and stakeholders, you will steer RFPs, PPAs, QF agreements, interconnection, and regulatory support through commercial operation, while ensuring project performance, records, and timely executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, energy policy, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project-management or related electric utility experience.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional energy or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, procurement, contracting, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy and storage projects.
• Manage RFP activities, PPAs, and QF projects.
• Coordinate interconnection, regulatory support, and project execution through commercial operation.
• Serve as primary contact for internal teams, developers, vendors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and closeout.
• Ensure procurement programs align with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, finance, procurement, system planning, and operations.
• Support regulatory filings and PPA certification activities.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate project records, change orders, and status reports.
• Lead project meetings and communicate risks and decisions to leadership.
• Support after-hours storm restoration activities when required.
