Job summary

Smart4 Energy is expanding its US project development team and seeks an experienced Project Development Manager to advance utility-scale, front-of-the-meter projects across key markets. You will coordinate internal teams and external partners, driving development from feasibility through Ready-to-Build and Financial Close.

The role requires hands-on execution, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate interconnection, permitting, and regulatory processes across the US, including

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in utility-scale energy project development, renewable energy, energy storage, power generation or related infrastructure.
• Experience progressing projects through multiple stages of development, ideally including permitting and interconnection.
• Understanding of US interconnection processes and the ability to coordinate technical and commercial aspects of interconnection.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Professional English.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned utility-scale energy projects from early-stage development through Ready-to-Build / Financial Close.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk registers and development plans.
• Coordinate key development workstreams including interconnection, permitting, land, environmental studies, engineering and commercial activities.
• Identify project risks, dependencies and potential delays and work proactively with the wider team to resolve them.
• Support project evaluation and feasibility assessments for new development opportunities.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to project and senior management.
