Job summary

Pivot Energy is seeking an Associate in Project Finance to support the financing of renewable energy projects. You will manage data rooms and diligence trackers, coordinate deliverables with internal teams, and assist Managers and Directors in closings with lenders and investors.

You will work across development, construction, and finance teams, gain exposure to capital raises and deal structuring, and develop a deep understanding of renewable project financing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, M&A, or similar position.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and take on tasks outside comfort zone.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Project management, organizational, and analytical skills to handle multiple work streams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of quickly learning new concepts and skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to enhance the company’s reputation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor development and construction activities and perform due diligence reviews and data room management with risk mitigation.
• Maintain project financing infrastructure on Smartsheet, Egnyte, and Salesforce and refine tools to support reports.
• Support transaction managers by ensuring data rooms and diligence sites are complete and accessible for lenders/investors.
• Review, prioritize, and coordinate development and construction deliverables with internal teams.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence reviews and identify mitigation strategies.
• Represent the Project Finance team on internal project teams and discussions.
