Job summary

Pivot Energy in Denver seeks a Developer, Project Development to lead site diligence, permitting, and land lease coordination for solar and energy storage projects. You will manage third-party contractors, organize project records, and liaise with the Pivot Structured Finance team to prepare for financial closings.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to navigate complex site development processes. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of renewable energy development experience.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Comfort speaking in public while presenting Pivot project concepts to decision-making bodies.

Responsibilities

• Meet with landowners, manage lease terms, and amend leases for project development.
• Prepare and submit permitting documents for energy/industrial facility development, expansion, maintenance.
• Organize and maintain files, budgets, and project records using Pivot’s processes, Procore, and Salesforce.
• Manage third-party consultants and contractors to complete diligence items for a portfolio of projects.
• Attend community events to discuss solar with stakeholders and participate in policy working groups.
