Job summary

Longroad Energy seeks a Technical Training & Learning Development Intern to support the Operations training program and Longroad University by organizing, developing, and improving technical learning resources. You will work with the Training Manager and cross‑functional teams to turn business needs into practical, scalable learning solutions for field sites.

The internship runs 10–12 weeks in the summer, pays $25/hour, with ideal locations in Phoenix, AZ or Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student at a 4-year college.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in learning technology or renewable-energy operations.
• Experience with LMS or e-learning tools is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize existing Longroad University courses and training resources for Operations audiences.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and document training needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with development or refresh of e-learning, microlearning, job aids, and presentations.
• Map training requirements to job roles, teams, or sites and standardize curriculum assignments.
• Analyze completion data and prepare summaries or recommendations for the Training Manager.
