Job summary

Longroad Energy Holdings invites highly motivated undergraduates to join its Development team as interns in a 10–12 week summer program in San Francisco. You will assist with project schedules, reporting, and coordination across cross‑functional teams to advance wind, solar and storage projects.

The role provides hands‑on experience in renewable energy development, exposure to permitting, GIS, and stakeholder meetings, with mentorship and structured learning throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student at a 4-year college.
• Preferred majors include Environmental Studies, Engineering, Project Management, Business or energy-related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in renewable energy industry.
• Curiosity and self-starting attitude.
• Strong written and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Cover letter highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and update of project schedules and milestone trackers.
• Track permitting, land acquisition, interconnection milestones and contribute reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly development reports, dashboards, and portfolio summaries.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for updates.
• Maintain project records, data repositories, and documentation.
• Organize mapping requests, exhibits, and spatial data.
• Assist with materials for permitting applications and stakeholder meetings.
• Support project management processes and cross-functional collaboration.
