Job summary

Longroad Energy Holdings seeks an undergraduate intern to support Technical Training & Learning Development and Longroad University. You will help evaluate, organize, and improve technical learning resources, working with the Training Manager and across Operations, EHS, Engineering, HR, and SMEs to translate requirements into practical learning solutions.

The internship runs 10–12 weeks this summer, with hands-on learning in instructional design, training data, and learning technology.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student at a 4-year college
• Preferred majors in Education, Instructional Design, Liberal Arts or Human Resources
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Experience with LMS or e-learning tools is a plus but not required
• Strong analytical skills and ability to organize information from multiple sources
• Clear written and verbal communication and comfort working with subject-matter experts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently
• Interest in learning technology and renewable-energy operations
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Cover letter highly preferred
• Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel; Teams/SharePoint helpful

Responsibilities

• Review and organize Longroad University courses, curricula and training records for Operations audiences
• Interviews with stakeholders/SMEs to document training needs and improvement opportunities
• Assist with development or refresh of e-learning, microlearning, job aids and quizzes
• Map training to job roles, teams, or sites and standardize curriculum metadata
• Analyze completion data and prepare summaries, charts or recommendations
• Support testing and quality review of LMS courses and learner experiences
• Maintain project documentation, schedules and status updates
• Be able to work in the field in varying weather
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and site visits when available
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation on project results and next steps
