Job Summary

As part of our expansion, Targray seeks a Renewable Natural Gas Trader / Origination Manager in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on developing new business and growth opportunities for RNG supply and demand, including RNG production and transportation fuels (CNG/LNG). Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing strategies for RNG supply
• Lead deals, manage external relationships, and negotiate contracts
• Understand customer needs, pricing, and competition to fulfill customer requirements
• Conduct market research and analyze data to optimize sales strategies
• Leverage environmental market expertise to identify and develop client relationships
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through ongoing business development
• Conduct discovery and develop value propositions for clients
• Manage accounts strategically and maintain effective client relationships
• Anticipate client needs and provide strategic solutions
• Evaluate and present opportunities for new products and services development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in RNG, renewable diesel, or natural gas origination and sales
• Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships
• Exceptional negotiation, organization, and communication skills
• Results-oriented with a proactive, collaborative, and detail-focused approach
• Knowledge of relevant environmental policies and markets
• Fluency in English required due to frequent interactions with stakeholders across Canada, US, and globally
