Job summary

The AES Indiana Renewable Operations team seeks a Renewable Team Lead with PV, BESS, and related maintenance experience to ensure reliable, safe operation of the portfolio.

The role will lead AES technicians and contractors at the Pike County BESS site near Petersburg, IN, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, improving performance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. On-site work with occasional remote support may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of PV solar plants and electrical systems (OSHA NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout).
• Electrical trade qualification with 5+ years working on utility-scale systems.
• Experience with CMMS, DAS/SCADA, and maintenance software.
• Ability to read schematics and maintain PV and BESS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination with onsite technicians and third-party teams for PV, BESS, and substation maintenance.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of field services and coordinate with engineers.
• Manage contractor onboarding, training, and scheduling; enforce safety procedures.
• Document maintenance activities, reports, and safety-related records; support change management.
