Job summary

AES Indiana is seeking a Renewable Team Lead to oversee field operations for PV solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role manages technicians, coordinates maintenance activities, and collaborates with engineering to optimize portfolio performance.

The position requires supervision experience, strong knowledge of PV systems and electrical safety standards, and the ability to work on-site at the Petersburg, Indiana site with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in operations and maintenance of industrial PV solar plants and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA 70E, NFPA 70E).
• Ability to read and interpret equipment/facility schematics and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technicians and contractors in PV/BESS maintenance and project work.
• Coordinate safe, efficient field service delivery and meet maintenance obligations.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement to address issues and maintain performance.
• Manage on-site safety, incident reporting, and training coordination.
• Oversee on-call scheduling and after-hours response as needed.
