Job summary

AES Indiana is seeking a Renewable Team Lead with solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience to oversee maintenance operations at the Pike County BESS project near Petersburg, IN. You will lead AES Technicians and partner teams to ensure reliable, safe operations and timely construction support.

The role requires a strong background in electrical systems, PV/BESS, and field supervision, with emphasis on safety and collaboration with engineering and procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience overseeing technical teams.
• Experience with PV solar plants, BESS, and electrical systems.
• Electrical trade qualification with utility-scale experience.
• Experience with PV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite technicians and third-party teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate safe delivery of field services and support maintenance obligations.
• Work with Engineering to remediate site issues and improve performance.
• Manage contractors and ensure compliance with AES safety procedures.
