Job summary

AES Indiana is expanding its renewables fleet and seeking a Utilities Renewable Energy Project Manager in Indianapolis. You will lead large-scale solar and storage projects, coordinating engineering, permitting, regulatory, and finance teams to deliver on schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include EPC management, owner’s representation, and interconnection coordination, with travel up to 30% across project sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in a project management role for energy construction projects.
• Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems and PV facilities is preferred.
• Experience leading EPC contract negotiations is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of renewable energy projects from early stages to operations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, environmental, regulatory, and finance.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks and cost estimates.
• Oversee EPC contracts, BTAs, and owner’s representative duties.
• Coordinate interconnection processes and regulatory filings.
