You will coordinate permit applications, engage AHJs, interpret codes, and prepare documentation while collaborating with engineering, construction, and project management teams to keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage permit applications for renewable energy construction projects across multiple jurisdictions
• Develop and maintain relationships with local AHJs to facilitate the permitting process
• Interpret and apply local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements
• Prepare and review permit applications and supporting documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, development, and project management teams
• Track and report permit status, ensuring timely submission of all required documentation
• Coordinate permit activity timelines in alignment with the overall project schedule
• Identify and assess permit risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report to the project team
• Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and related communications
• Attend pre-application meetings with regulatory agencies when necessary
• Keep project teams informed of permitting timelines and requirements
• Manage the end-to-end permitting process for renewable energy facilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact with AHJs across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure permit activities stay aligned with overall project schedules
• Identify, elevate, and mitigate permitting-related risks
