Job summary

Westinghouse and its subsidiary WECTEC Staffing Services seek a Permit Project Coordinator- Renewables for a 1-year contract (W-2). You will manage the permitting process to build renewable energy facilities, working directly with AHJs across jurisdictions in the Juno Beach, FL area.

The role involves coordinating permit applications, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with building codes while collaborating with engineering, construction, and project management teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or related field.
• Experience with renewable energy construction permitting.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Understanding of building codes and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage permit applications for renewable energy projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop relationships with AHJs to facilitate the permitting process.
• Interpret local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare and review permit applications and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, development and project management teams.
• Track and report permit status and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
• Coordinate permit activity timelines in alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Identify and assess permit risks, develop mitigation strategies and report to project team.
