Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd in Denver, CO, seeks an OCC Operator I to monitor and control our Operations Control Center assets, including Solar, BESS, and Wind, ensuring safe, efficient generation.

You will maintain SCADA connectivity, document real-time activities, and support ISO scheduling while adhering to safety standards. Travel 5-15% is required; a 2+ year control room or renewables background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of control room experience in energy or renewables.
• Able to work in high-pressure situations.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with teamwork focus.
• Domestic travel 5-15% required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor in OCC for solar, wind, and storage assets.
• Maintain SCADA connectivity and resolve comms failures.
• Follow procedures and coordinate with sites, TSOs/ISOs, and off-takers.
• Maintain operator logs of real-time activities.
• Support maintenance, troubleshoot, and assist with outages.
• Assist in admin maintenance of manuals and diagrams.
• Promote safety and RES safety standards.
• Attend work regularly and comply with policies.
• Travel domestically 5-15% per year.
