Job summary
Primoris Services Corporation operates the Renewable Energy Control Center in Centennial and seeks an on-site Operations Center Control Room Operator to manage real-time GOP requirements and coordinate with Balancing Authorities, Generator Owners, and field operations. This role will support SCADA activities and fleet-wide control center operations.
The position emphasizes plant availability, outage coordination, logging, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards, with up to 20% travel
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in engineering, electronics, computer science, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience operating and maintaining SCADA systems in renewable energy or related field.
- Experience with CMMS for tracking maintenance and work orders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate SCADA systems in real time.
- Manage CMMS to track maintenance and work orders.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and issues.
- Respond to alarms and outages to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with field technicians and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety procedures.
- Document performance and maintenance activities.
- Support emergency response planning and cross-functional collaboration.
