Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an Operator II to monitor and control renewable energy plants from the OCC, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. You will use SCADA to adjust plant setpoints and respond to changing conditions to maximize generation and minimize downtime.

The role requires 5+ years in power system operations, an associate degree, and leads toward NERC certification. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power system operations or related energy operations.
• Associate’s Degree in a technical or relevant discipline is required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Must possess and maintain NERC Balancing and Interchange Certification or ability to attain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conditions in renewable energy plants from the OCC to maximize performance.
• Respond quickly to changing conditions to maximize availability and generation.
• Operate SCADA systems to control plant equipment and ensure compliant operations.
