Job summary

Clēnera is hiring a Financial Control & Budget Analyst in Boise, Idaho, to provide financial oversight across solar and storage projects. You will partner with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Development, and Finance to track costs against budgets.

You will monitor expenditures, run reports, and explain variances while administering change orders and maintaining BAC/ETC/EAC. Hybrid work supports collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company software.
• Strong detail orientation, project cost tracking, and forecast accuracy.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenditures, commitments, accruals, and forecasts against approved budgets.
• Maintain project cost reports and provide visibility into budget performance.
• Identify, analyze, and explain budget variances with project managers.
• Administer the project change order process from initiation through approval.
• Develop and reconcile BAC, ETC, and EAC with transparent assumptions.
• Maintain a project dashboard for KPIs across the construction phase.
• Map budgets, costs, commitments, accruals, forecasts to WBS.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain project construction forecast.
• Support timely delivery of project timelines and deliverables.
