Job summary

Clēnera in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a VP of Accounting to provide strategic leadership across the accounting function, ensure timely, accurate financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, and align with the Israeli parent.

You will lead technical accounting, tax, audits, internal controls, and a growing renewables business, mentor teams, drive process improvements, and partner with executives to support major initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, and compliance strategy.
• Consolidate multi-entity financials and reports.
• Interface with Israeli parent to align practices.
• Oversee internal controls and audits.
• Manage external auditors and oversee IFRS/GAAP reporting.
• Develop high-performing accounting teams.
• Oversee accounting software enhancements.
• Budget management and cost controls.
• Hire and train staff and mentor teams.
