Job summary

Clēnera, LLC in Boise, Idaho, seeks a VP of Accounting to lead the company's accounting function, ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, and govern internal controls in a growth-oriented renewable energy business.

You will oversee financial reporting, audits, and interface with the Israeli parent, mentor senior accountants, and drive improvements across systems and processes while traveling monthly to HQ.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in progressive accounting with public company experience.
• 5+ years leading managers in a growth-oriented organization.
• 3+ years of renewables or related tax incentives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic accounting leadership across financial reporting and compliance.
• Consolidate entities and prepare income statements, balance sheets, and shareholder reports.
• Interface with the Israeli parent company to align practices.
• Oversee internal controls, governance, and audit activities.
• Lead and mentor accounting leaders; develop succession plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.
• Manage relationships with external auditors.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update reporting accordingly.
