Job summary

DESRI seeks intellectually curious students for its Summer 2027 Investment/Strategy Internship. The 10-week program (June–August) involves the Finance & Acquisitions and Strategy teams, contributing to investment, financing, strategic analysis, and growth of DESRI’s renewables platform across solar, storage, and wind assets.

You will collaborate with mentors, present your work, and gain exposure to asset visits and intern events while developing analytical and financial skills.

Qualifications

• Analytically oriented students with interest in renewable energy, investing, finance, strategy, or energy markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical ability, attention to detail, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Record of academic or professional achievement.
• Ability to collaborate in small teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Financial modeling experience with Excel is helpful but not required.
• Final-year undergrad or grad students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating investment opportunities by building/maintaining financial analyses and models.
• Support due diligence, debt and tax equity financings, asset sales across development, construction, and operation.
• Support market research, quantitative/qualitative analyses, and strategic insights for business planning.
