Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc in Pittsburgh is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Renewable Energy Team. You will prepare and review electrical designs for solar, storage, EV charging, and interconnection projects, applying NEC and current industry data.

This role requires a PE license or ability to obtain one within six months, plus 3+ years of related experience. You will collaborate across disciplines, travel for site inspections, and contribute to design documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
Professional Engineer license.
3+ years' experience with electrical engineering documents including NEC, solar, battery storage, EV charging, and interconnection.
Strong problem-solving and evaluation skills.
Proficient with AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Excel/Word/Project, and modeling software (PVSYST/Helioscope).
Able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare Electrical Engineering designs and templates for renewable energy installations.
Provide due diligence and interpretations of designs by others.
Prepare basis of design analysis and review.
Interface with other technical disciplines.
Prepare engineering design and construction documents.
Improve design processes through collaboration.
Travel for site inspection and viability analyses.
Attend and participate in project-related meetings.
