Job summary

Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for its Renewable Energy Team. The role focuses on preparing electrical designs and templates, ensuring NEC compliance, and supporting plant interconnections and utility interfaces.

The candidate should have a PE license or be in Training, 3+ years’ experience with solar, battery storage, EV charging, and related interconnections. Travel to sites will be required and collaboration across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• 3+ years’ experience with NEC Code, solar, battery storage, EV charging, and utility interconnection for distributed generation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs and templates for renewable energy installations.
• Provide due diligence and interpretation of designs.
• Prepare basis of design analysis and interface with other technical disciplines.
• Prepare construction documents and improve design processes.
