Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support renewable energy designs in Portland, OR and Tigard, OR.

The candidate will contribute to underground collector system design, routing, grounding, conduit planning, BOM preparation and schematics for bidding support. Minimum requirements include a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of design experience; strong communication, teamwork and organization skills; PE licensure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years' design engineering experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PE licensure is preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design and study underground collector systems for renewable energy projects.
• Develop routing, system plans, grounding plans and conduit plans.
• Prepare bill of materials and electric schematics; provide conceptual design for bidding support.
