Job summary

Edf Renewable Energy, Inc. seeks a Counsel to handle corporate governance, procurement, and project contracts for North America. The role supports M&A activities, compliance, and strategic planning across renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, storage, and grid-scale initiatives.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex agreements, advise senior leadership, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with internal teams and external counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited U.S. law school or equivalent Canadian credential.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state or Canadian province/territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and review of complex renewable energy project contracts and M&A documents.
• Provide legal support across corporate governance, procurement, and project financing matters.
• Advise cross-functional stakeholders on transactions, regulatory matters, and company policies.
