Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking an Associate, Contracts, to lead PPA, BT, and DT negotiations for renewable energy projects. You will own workstreams of moderate to advanced complexity and coordinate with Development, Finance, Engineering and Legal to prepare documentation for commercial transactions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 2+ years).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of directly relevant experience.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Actively contribute to and take ownership of workstreams related to the preparation and negotiation of PPA, BT, and DT agreements.
Coordinate with Development, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and other functional groups to prepare exhibits and other documentation related to commercial transactions.
Create and maintain data rooms used to exchange transaction documents with third parties.
Manage and organize due diligence materials requested by transaction counterparties, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Lead or significantly contribute to Invenergy's RFP responses related to PPA, BT, and DT transactions.
