Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago is seeking an Associate, Commercial Contracts to assist the Contracts team with PPA, BT, and DT agreements for renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly across functions, and can navigate high-stakes negotiations while supporting development of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects.

The role follows a hybrid schedule with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote Fridays when possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the Contracts team in the preparation of PPA, BT, and DT agreements.
• Coordinate with Development, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and other functional departments in order to prepare exhibits and other documentation related to the commercial transaction.
• Create and maintain data rooms used to exchange transaction documents with third parties.
• Assist commercial team with gathering and sharing due diligence requested by transaction counterparties.
• Provide support for Invenergy’s RFP responses related to PPA, BT, and DT transactions.
